Delete your data

AffirmMyName has no accounts, no sign-in, and no passwords. Your data lives on your phone. Here is how to remove it.

Delete everything on your phone

Uninstall the app. That removes everything stored on your device: your name, pronunciation, photo, journal entries, mood taps, Big Days, custom affirmations, reminders, streak, voice setting, and any birthdays you saved. This cannot be undone.

If you turned on cloud backup

Cloud backup is off by default. If you turned it on in Settings, a copy of your data was sent to our server so a new phone could restore it. To delete that server copy, email support@affirmmyname.com and ask us to delete your backup. You do not need to provide an account, because there is none. We will confirm once it is done.

What gets removed

Uninstalling removes everything from your phone immediately. Server-side backup data is deleted within 30 days of your request.
